For a better gut feeling

Kombucha, with its many live cultures and probiotics, can give you a pleasant feeling. In everyday life, we often forget how relaxing small moments of well-being can be. In the 7-day Kombucha Challenge, we give you a small routine every day that you can then incorporate into your day, combined with a bottle of kombucha.

You don't need much for this. Just a week with a little free time and a desire for kombucha. You'll surely feel energized after just one week of regularly drinking kombucha and enjoying the additional small pampering moments.

Day 1: Drink kombucha and plenty of water

Today, on day 1, have a bottle of your favorite kombucha for breakfast. For the rest of the day, you should drink at least 2.5 liters of water. Guideline: 35 milliliters per kilogram of body weight. Too little fluid in daily life can harm your health. Your kidneys need fluid to transport waste products out of the body. Digestion can become sluggish. Kombucha additionally nourishes your body with live cultures and enzymes and supports your gut.

Day 2: Alkaline bath and kombucha

Today, take an hour for yourself and treat yourself to an alkaline bath with candles and kombucha. Alkaline bath salts can be bought at the pharmacy or drugstore. An alkaline bath can gently bring your body's acid-base balance into equilibrium. Additionally, your skin is nourished from the outside. An alkaline bath also relaxes your muscles after exercise and helps you recover faster. Kombucha can also help your body positively influence your acid-base balance. The perfect combination!

Day 3: Get some fresh air and then reward yourself with kombucha

Today, it's time to get some fresh air. Whether you live in a big city or a village, there's always an opportunity to escape into nature for an hour. Take an hour for a relaxed walk in the forest or simply in the nearby park and then treat yourself to a chilled bottle of kombucha.

Day 4: Self-love meditation

Today, we celebrate your feelings and consciously allow emotions. Open the windows in your apartment and let some fresh air into your four walls. Take half an hour to listen to yourself. How do you feel today? What is moving you? What is your gut feeling? What do you feel like today? Are you doing things because you think you have to? Take a deep breath in and out and feel within yourself. Afterwards, you can slowly enjoy a bottle of kombucha and signal to your body that you are there for it and ready to listen to it.

Day 5: Alkaline soup and kombucha

Today, there's this delicious alkaline carrot soup for dinner. Combined with a bottle of kombucha, your gut will thank you.

Day 6: Yoga Stretching and Kombucha

Today, your body will be treated to a proper stretching program. You don't have to be a professional yogi or super athletic for this. Instead of a yoga mat, you can also use a blanket as an underlay or a comfortable rug. Afterward, a bottle of kombucha, and you can start the day energized or fall asleep relaxed. Day 7: Enjoy Kombucha Mocktail with friends

You can be proud of yourself and the last few days. To conclude the week, enjoy a delicious non-alcoholic Kombucha mocktail with your friends. For 2 people, you will need:

  • 1 bottle of ginger
  • Juice of 1/4 lemon
  • 2 lemon slices
  • 1 tsp basil
  • Syrup
  • Peppermint leaves for garnish

Sharing happy moments is much more fun than enjoying them alone. Did you know that our body produces 6 different happiness hormones (serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine, endorphins, phenethylamine, and oxytocin)? They influence your physical and psychological well-being and are sometimes even referred to as the body's own drugs.
